We hope you had a great Christmas, we are enjoying spending time with family and friends, and looking forward to a fishy 2019!
The Yakima is in great shape and virtually empty right now. Streamer fishing and nymphing are both taking some nice fish, and whether you are fishing from the boat or the bank, you should find some success focusing on the deep, slow pieces of water during the warmest part of the day.
Rocky Ford is also fishing well, with the usual assortment of scuds, midges, egg patterns and San Juan worms. There has not been much topwater activity, but cloudy days have made for some good streamer fishing with bunny leeches and hot-head buggers.
See you in 2019!
