Weekend Fishing Forecast: October 5th, 2018

Sorry for the lapse in post recently, we have been fishing and guiding almost non-stop and have not had much time to catch our breath!

Fishing has been pretty typical for early October: nymphing or dry/dropper has been producing in the morning hours, with a decent to excellent chance of finding fish on dires midday, dependent on the weather. Cooler weather the past few days has the Blue-Wings starting to show, and with the rain we saw in the valley today the bugs and the fish were both active on top!

The river is in great shape for fall fishing, and there are some great wade fishing options, as well as a ton of different floats for those anglers with driftboats, rafts, or personal watercraft. Winter is just around the corner, so come enjoy some fall fishing this weekend on the Yak!
