Fishing has remained consistent on the Yakima, although slightly tougher than last week. Mornings and evenings are still producing some great dry-fly fishing, although the fish have seen some pressure, meaning presentation is paramount, as well as fishing smaller, more natural looking patterns. Nymphing midday is still kicking out some fish, although, again, good presentations are getting rewarded, while sloppy ones leave something to be desired. Focus on the fast water midday, and don't be afraid to run light with your nymph rigs, as their is a lot of food in the upper portion of the water column right now.
