The Yak is in shape and fished "decent" today, with fish coming on #6 Pat's Rubberlegs, and beadhead PTs and Hare's Ears in #12. Not a ton of fish being caught, but there have been some large fish being put in the net for those willing to put in the work. Changing pattern and depth often will up your odds, as well as playing "small ball";fishing the side channels and smaller buckets and drop-offs thoroughly, again adjusting depth and presentation until you find the sweet spot. Don't forget to look for fish feeding on caddis in the evenings as well! Target risers with a high-floating adult like an elk hair trailed by a low-rider like an X-caddis or CDC emerger.
