After receiving close to a foot of new snow this past weekend, we are right smack dab in the middle of another high pressure system with VERY cold temps. Last night was close to -10 which is not good news for those wanting to get out and fish this week. The Yakima is a tough go right now, Even if you find water with no ice flow, the shelf ice is taking up a large majority of the channel. Standing on the shelf and fishing is not a good option and downright dangerous in most places. Best to wait this one out, it looks like we will see a big warm-up by early next week.
