The Yakima is hanging in there, and is fishing well, even through a slight bump in flows. The fishing has been consistent on stonefly nymphs and worm patterns in the slow buckets. We are also seeing water temps hitting the 42 degree mark, which is usually the magic number for the Skwala stoneflies to start making their way towards the banks. Once we see the water temps hang consistently in the nid 40's we should start seeing adult stoneflies, and with the wamring trend and slow melt-off of our lowland snowpack, it's looking like that will happen sooner rather than later. We are getting lots of bookings for our popular $149 Spring Guide Trip Special, so we reccomend picking a date and getting it on the calendar as soon as possible!
