Yakima River Fishing Report

A little cooler and windier today but the fish are still there and still eating. Nymphing has been the most productive with fish eating rubberlegs stones, October Caddis pupa, and a variety of smaller BWO-esque nymphs like Copper Johns, WD-40s and smaller PTs. Dry-dropper fishing has been good in the shallower boulder gardens with a chubby trailed by a small tungsten bug. Fishing October Caddis and Cranefly dries when the sun is off the water has been getting some love as well, especially when fished on the skate.
