Things have dropped into shape nicely on the Yakima and the fishing is getting rolling again. Nymphing is still the name of the game, but we are starting to see some of our ealry summer bugs like golden stones, pmds and the continuation of the caddis hatch, although it's not nearly as heavy as it was a couple of weeks ago. It looks like the river should continue to drop throughout the weekend and into next week, and you can bet our guidestaff will be out taking advantage of the conditions. Laso, just a reminder that our general creek opener is tomorrow, June 3rd, so smaller streams and creeks like the Teanaway, Naches and several Yakima tribs are now a legal option as well. Most of our smaller streams are still running pretty high, but things should settle in soon and the summer fishing season will be off and running!
