Yakima River Fly Fishing Report

The Yakima below the Teanaway is on the fritz again and currently unfishable, although the flows have crested and begun to drop. For now, concentrate on the section of the river above the confluence of the Teanaway, nymphing olive Pat's Stones, San Juan worms and BH Pheasant Tails in #12-14. Once the lower river drops back into shape, we should see some awesome fishing in the canyon and farmlands, and (hopefully) a continuation of some of the dry-fly action we had before this latest bump.
