Things are still looking pretty brown on the Yakima, with everything downstream of the Teanaway high, dirty and unfishable. Above the Teanaway there is some color with close to 3 feet of visibility, although flows are up and there is plenty of "rock snot" in the drift. Fishing from South Cle Elum to East Cle Elum (State) is about the only option for those looking to fish this weekend, although conditions are far from ideal. Our advice, lay low and bide your time for when things start to drop. We are going to see cooler overnight temps over the next several days, and hopefully that will help keep the melting snow in check. Rocky Ford or some of the Columbia Basin lakes will be a great option for those wanting consistent fishing over the weekend.
