Yakima River Fly Fishing Report December 14th 2016

The Kittitas Valley is seeing some very low temperatures right now, the fishing has slowed down some with the cold weather we are seeing this week. Look for the fishing to pick up once the weather warms up again early next week. For now, stay inside and tie some flies, organize your gear bag, or give that dirty fly line a bath! For those of you who ABSOLUTELY have to get out and fish this week, check out Rocky Ford spring creek, it has been fishing well with San Juan Worms, scuds and egg patterns, as well as Dali Llamas stripped fast across the shallow flats.

Don't forget that we will also be at Orvis Bellevue this weekend, selling Ellensburg Angler gift certificates both Saturday and Sunday. There will also be some great sales and specials on Orvis gear and clothing. If you can't make it to Bellevue, don't worry you can send us an email at info@ellensburgangler.com or give us a call at (509) 607-1804 and we can get you taken care of. We can send you a gift certificate right to your inbox, so if you are a procrastinator like I am, you can call us Christmas Eve and we will help you get that last minute holiday shopping finished!

Happy Holidays from Ellensburg Angler!
